Hi there and happy spring! For my first blog post I thought I would share a fun spring outfit and my spring bucket list. I am loving vertical stripes lately and I know I will live in this off the shoulder top.
After a week of our whole family being sick we took a family drive out to a local park by the beach to get some fresh air! I only changed into these Marc Fisher wedges for pictures. Walking in sand in wedges isn’t easy…I know this because I fell a few times chasing Mela haha. Definitely a funny thing to witness. Having said that, I seriously wear these wedges all the time; they are the most comfortable wedges I own and are perfect for spring with pants, dresses, or skirts!
Because it’s spring and getting warmer, I thought it’d be fun to share a spring activities bucket list. Some of these ideas would be cool to do with the family or even for a date day/night. Who knows, maybe this list will give you some fun ideas to try!
- Go strawberry/blueberry picking at a local farm
- Go mini golfing
- Have a picnic with a good view (at the beach/park), including mimosas, cheese, and lots of laughter 🙂 I was just gifted a beautiful picnic basket set from Pottery Barn and I cannot wait to use it!
- Go on a bike ride at the beach
- Have a night stay-cation at a local hotel and use all the amenities including the pool, spa, restaurants, etc.
- Take a ferry ride
- Go to a country concert
- Make a spring centerpiece for my table- including colorful flowers from Trader Joe’s
- Eat dinner outside by the ocean
- Do a mommy-daughter photoshoot in matching dresses
- Take our dog Zoey to the dog park
- Have a big backyard BBQ with friends & family
- Go to an outdoor food truck festival
- Take day trips to some other beaches
- Grow some of my own fresh vegetables in my backyard
